The EY Digital Risk Graduate Programme is a three-year fixed-term opportunity designed for graduates passionate about cybersecurity, technology risk, and enterprise resilience. Based in Johannesburg and starting in February 2026, this role places you within EY Consulting’s Digital Risk team, where you’ll help clients navigate the complex interplay of risk and strategy. You’ll work across enterprise, technology, and financial services risk domains to support sustainable growth, regulatory compliance, and agile decision-making. EY offers mentorship, hands-on experience, and exposure to transformative projects that shape the future of digital risk management.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate and identify engagement-related risks and escalate issues as appropriate
• Identify and internally escalate potential red flags related to engagements
• Prepare reports, deliverables, status updates, and audit committee presentations
• Demonstrate the ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects as directed by managers

Qualifications

• Recently graduated or in the final stages of obtaining a degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Business, Internal Audit, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• A keen interest in digital risk and cybersecurity
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
